TEHRAN – Informed sources within the Iranian military have revealed that the Armed Forces have prepared at least ten different response scenarios to counter any potential hostile action by the Israeli regime. 

According to Tasnim news agency, these plans have been meticulously designed and arranged by specialized units within the military, and any of them could be employed if necessary.

These scenarios are constantly being updated and their existence underscores Iran's determination to respond forcefully to any aggression. The sources emphasized that the response might not be a direct tit-for-tat retaliation, but could be broader and more impactful, targeting different areas to maximize its effectiveness.

Highlighting Iran's strategic advantage, the sources pointed out the significant size disparity between Iran and the occupied territories, noting that Israel has a smaller landmass and fewer critical infrastructures. This, they claim, would allow Iran to inflict unprecedented damage on the Israeli regime in a retaliatory strike.

Furthermore, the sources warned that any country supporting Israel in any potential action would cross Iran's red lines and face severe consequences. They also emphasized that several countries have already declared they would not participate in any pro-Israel actions. 

The revelations come amidst heightened tensions following Israel’s recent assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC general Abbas Nilforoushan in September. In response, Iran launched over 200 ballistic missiles targeting Israeli military and intelligence bases across the occupied Palestinian territories on October 1. 

While Israel has threatened retaliation, Iranian officials have consistently warned of a calculated, and harsh response to any new aggression.
